Full-time Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Tester to join our team to assist in the testing process for the Swift File Act project. The UAT Tester will be responsible for validating the system’s ability to handle Swift financial messages and ensuring compliance with Swift standards and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in a financial or banking environment.
- Proven experience in testing financial messaging systems, including familiarity with Swift messaging protocols (e.g., MT, MX messages).
- Hands-on experience with financial systems and knowledge of Swift File Act compliance requirements.
- Certification: ISTQB or other relevant QA certifications.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of Swift message formats and compliance standards (e.g., ISO20022, SwiftNet).
- Proficiency in using testing tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, TestRail, or similar).
- Experience with test case creation, execution, and defect tracking.
- Knowledge of security and encryption standards for financial data handling.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify issues early in the process.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and validate system behaviour.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
