We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow ITSM Engineer to join our team on a 12-month extendable contract. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, customizing, supporting, and optimizing ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM) solutions while ensuring alignment with business requirements and ITIL best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, configure, and support ServiceNow ITSM modules.
• Customize ServiceNow applications, workflows, forms, and business rules.
• Develop and maintain Service Catalog items and automated workflows using Flow Designer.
• Build and support integrations with third-party systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
• Configure and maintain CMDB and related IT service management processes.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and provide technical support to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business users and technical teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
• Ensure platform performance, security, and compliance with organizational standards.
• Participate in ServiceNow upgrades, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Document technical designs, configurations, and operational procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3–8 years of hands-on experience working with the ServiceNow platform.
• Strong experience in ServiceNow ITSM implementation, customization, and support.
• Hands-on expertise in:
- JavaScript
- Glide API
- Flow Designer
- REST/SOAP Integrations
- Service Catalog Development
• Experience with CMDB and Asset Management is an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes and IT service management best practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Certifications:
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)
• ITIL Foundation Certification
