Senior UI/UX Designer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Bilingual UI/UX Designer (English/Arabic) to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing world-class user interfaces and user experiences for our suite of mobile and web applications, ensuring they are not only visually stunning but also highly intuitive and accessible to our diverse user base, including both English and Arabic speakers.

The Senior UI/UX Designer will collaborate closely with the product owner, business stakeholders and the development team in an Agile environment, assuming responsibility for the design lifecycle from conceptualization to implementation. This position requires a strong understanding of user needs, the ability to translate business requirements into effective design solutions, and a commitment to delivering seamless and engaging digital experiences.

Responsibilities:

• User-Centered Design Leadership: Lead the design process for new and existing mobile and web applications, championing a user-centered design approach.
• Concept Development & Ideation: Collaborate with product owner and stakeholders to understand business objectives and user needs, translating these into innovative and user-centric design concepts.
• Wireframing & Prototyping: Create wireframes, user flows, and clickable prototypes (low-fidelity and high-fidelity) to effectively communicate design ideas and test usability.
• World-Class UI Design: Design visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces, adhering to brand guidelines and accessibility standards, with a focus on modern design trends and best practices.
• Exceptional UX Design: Craft seamless and engaging user experiences, optimizing for usability, accessibility, and user satisfaction across all platforms.
• Multi-Lingual Design Expertise: Design specifically for both English and Arabic languages, ensuring culturally appropriate and linguistically accurate interfaces. This includes meticulous attention to right-to-left (RTL) layout, typography, date/time formats, and other localization nuances.
• Mobile & Web Application Design: Design responsive and adaptive interfaces for both mobile and web applications, ensuring a consistent and optimal user experience across devices.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work closely and effectively with the product owner, developers, and other business stakeholders throughout the design and development lifecycle. Clearly communicate design rationale and iterate based on feedback.
• User Research & Testing: Participate in user research activities, including usability testing, to gather user feedback and validate design decisions. Analyze data and insights to continuously improve the user experience.
• Design System Contribution: Contribute to and maintain our design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across all digital products.
• Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Continuously research and stay abreast of the latest UI/UX design trends, tools, and best practices, particularly in mobile and multi-lingual design.
• Presentation & Stakeholder Management: Present design concepts and deliverables to stakeholders, effectively articulating design decisions and gathering feedback.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience as a UI/UX Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in designing user-centered mobile and web applications.
• Proven experience in designing multi-lingual applications, specifically for English and Arabic. Demonstrable understanding of RTL design principles and cultural considerations for Arabic-speaking users.
• Proficiency in industry-standard UI/UX design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design methodologies, design thinking principles, and usability testing techniques.
• Strong visual design skills with a keen eye for typography, color, layout, and visual hierarchy.
• Excellent understanding of user experience principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
• Experience designing for both iOS and Android mobile platforms, as well as responsive web design.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills. Ability to articulate design ideas clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced Agile environment
