Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Systems Analyst with strong expertise in financial analysis, data management, and technology integration to support our finance and reporting functions. This role requires a hybrid background in finance and IT, with hands-on experience in analytics tools, budgeting platforms, and financial system implementations, particularly within a banking or financial services context.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong financial analysis, modelling, and quantitative reasoning skills.

Advanced proficiency in Power BI, SAS, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Alteryx, and OFSAA.

Solid understanding of financial concepts and drivers, particularly in banking or financial institutions.

Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning systems.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.

Ability to work cross-functionally with finance, business, and technical stakeholders.
Desirable Qualifications:

Background in finance with strong IT skills, or a technical background with solid financial knowledge.

Experience working in the banking or financial services industry is highly preferred.

Exposure to tools like Anaplan or other EPM solutions is an advantage.

Prior involvement in system implementation projects and UAT cycles.

Knowledge or experience with funds transfer pricing (FTP) and how it impacts bank profitability.
