Business Continuity Management

Immediate hiring for UAE Nationals / Emirati for the role BCP Specialist.

Job Description:

1. 5 – 7 proven experiences in developing and managing Business Continuity Management
2. Develop and Implement Business Continuity Plans
3. Create, maintain, and update comprehensive BCPs that outline procedures for various disruptive ensuring alignment with client objectives and regulatory requirements.
4. Perform BIA to assess and prioritize potential impacts of disruptions on critical business functions, processes, and assets.
5. Identify dependencies, interdependencies, and critical timelines to support informed decision making in BCP development.
6. Identify the resources needed.
7. Identify potential threats and vulnerabilities through risk assessments.
8. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks to business operations identified through BIA and risk assessments.
9. Educate and train employees on business continuity policies, procedures, and their roles during disruptions.
10. Coordinate and conduct drills and exercises to test BCP effectiveness and enhance organizational readiness.
11. Coordinate response efforts during emergencies, crisis or disruptions.
12. Implement and oversee BCP activation and recovery processes as per established protocols.
13. Monitor changes in the organizational environment and update BCPs and BIAs accordingly.
14. Conduct post-incident reviews and lessons learned sessions to identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions.
15. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards related to business continuity and disaster recovery.
16. Prepare and present reports on business continuity metrics, preparedness levels, and incident response effectiveness. Skills:
17. Experience in performing BIA to assess and prioritize the impacts of disruptions on critical business functions.
18. Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks to business operations.
19. Proficiency in developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive BCPs based on BIA findings.
20. Experience in coordinating and managing responses to emergencies and disruptions.
21. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with employees during incidents and reporting.
22. Strong analytical skills to evaluate scenarios, assess impacts, and make data-driven decisions.
23. Ability to prioritize a wide range of workloads with critical deadlines.
24. Availability outside of working hours to resolve emergency issues promptly.
25. Bachelor’s degree in business Continuity, Crisis Management or relevant degree Relevant certifications such as CBCI, ISO 22301 Lead Auditor.
