Responsible for L2 & L3-level delivery, operations, and governance for T24 Core Banking in a mission-critical banking environment, ensuring availability, performance, security, compliance, and audit readiness.
Strategic / Leadership Responsibilities:
– Plan architecture upgrades and capacity expansion for T24 systems.
– Define operational standards, maintenance schedules, and DR/BCP strategies for T24.
– Lead major incident recovery efforts and coordinate across technology teams.
– Collaborate with business stakeholders to align T24 capabilities with banking needs.
Technical / Operational Responsibilities:
– Administer T24 core banking environments across production, DR, and test systems.
– Manage application servers, middleware, and database integrations supporting T24.
– Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes.
– Coordinate with Temenos and vendors for patching, upgrades, and new feature deployments.
– Ensure application and data security compliance with PCI DSS, SWIFT, and local regulations.
Required Tools & Technologies:
– Temenos T24 administration tools
– Unix/Linux system administration utilities
– Database tools for Oracle/DB2 integrated with T24
– ITSM systems such as ServiceNow or BMC Remedy
Relevant Certifications:
– Temenos T24 Core Banking Certified Professional
– Oracle or IBM DB2 Database certifications
– ITIL Foundation
Experience Requirements:
– 10+ years overall experience relevant 6-8 years in T24 architecture and administration
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
– Clear communication with technical teams, management, and auditors.
– Ability to work under pressure in 24×7 banking operations and regulatory environments.
