We are seeking an experienced Application Support Specialist with experience in Oracle SQL. With 6-7 years of expertise, the ideal candidate will have a background in payment gateway operations and be skilled in service delivery, troubleshooting, and client-focused support. Key responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining payment gateway systems, providing technical support during integration and post-live phases, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Qualification/Required Skills
- Minimum 6-7 years’ experience in Oracle SQL and Application Support.
- Previous experience in payment gateway operations or a related role is highly desirable.
- Strong in Service Delivery and Support activities, Troubleshooting, Analytical Skills, Client Focused
- Knowledge of applications Health Checks, Maintenance and Change related activity.
- Knowledge of performance monitoring and log management tools such as: Splunk, AppDynamics
- Experience of working in production support projects (this will be an added advantage)
- Effective communication skills; verbal, non-verbal and written.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards (e.g., PCI DSS) is a plus.
High Level Tasks
- Troubleshoot errors and application issues with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Provide support to the entities during the integration and post live
- Provide support to call centre agents in case of production issues
- Continuously monitor payment gateway systems to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security.
- Respond to and resolve payment-related inquiries and issues from customers, clients, and internal teams promptly and professionally.
- Provide technical support to customers and partners in integrating and troubleshooting payment gateway systems.
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and compliance requirements related to payment processing and ensure our systems adhere to them.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of payment processes, procedures, and issue resolutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, customer support, and IT, to ensure a cohesive approach to payment gateway operations.
- Manage relationships with payment gateway service providers, Acquirers and coordinate updates, maintenance, and enhancements as needed.
