Financial Analyst
Job Purpose:
Responsible for financial analysis of budgets, actual spending and commitments, and supporting finance-related activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with departments, managers and vendors on budgets and expenditure.
• Prepare monthly MIS and DOF reports.
• Analyze budget variances and provide management insights.
• Verify expenditures against budgets before purchase requisitions and orders.
• Review invoices, delivery notes and purchase orders.
• Prepare payment vouchers and accounts payable transfers.
• Maintain supplier records and reconciliations.
• Support i-Supplier and GRP system issues.
• Conduct quarterly and year-end payable confirmations.
• Follow financial policies, information security standards and digitalization initiatives.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent.
• 4 years of relevant experience in reporting, MIS and accounting.
• Professional certifications such as ACA, CMA, CPA, CFA, ACCA or CIMA preferred.
• UAE government, semi-government or multinational experience preferred.
Skills:
• Financial reporting and analysis.
• IFRS and IPSAS knowledge.
• Advanced Excel and analytical tools.
• ERP systems knowledge.
• Root cause and scenario analysis.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Arabic preferred.
